Everything went well at the Fracture Clinic you'll be pleased to hear. Got registered, temporary cast cut off, x-rays, consult with surgeon and new cast put on all in under two hours. I was impressed. Surgeon said they would not consider surgery, but just cast it for 6-12 weeks, and keep an eye on it. We go back in two weeks to have repeat x-rays, and possibly a new cast.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that all went well and it's not too serious. Your cast certainly is colorful, we're both old enough to remember the white plaster casts that quickly became rather grungy and the stench when they came off.
