but all the others just kept eating!
We've also got a new herd of Alpacas just around the corner, though a long distance away for pictures.
I was amused by this active herd, all almost running across the large pasture to the farthest corner. Then I looked more closely, and....
realized that it was actually a mixed herd of sheep and goats.
The horses at Hope Haven were out in their paddocks.
This one a Norwegian Fjord horse, known for being gentle with riders, ideal for a therapeutic riding centre.
The few other horses I saw were just grazing in the distance.
And just for good measure, a Turkey Vulture passing over, not livestock, but part of our fauna every day.

ReplyDeleteI am sure they are all so enjoying the green grass and fresh air, and stretching their legs. Super blue skies, we are starting to get some deeper colours in the sunsets now.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful country scenes. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThat first cow has a pretty bow on her forehead. Nice pictures! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, that does look like a bow. : )
DeleteThose horses are quite beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. Liked them all!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful short road trip with you.
ReplyDeleteFun to see these!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely your vicinity is! When in New Zealand i want to do some close shots like those, but a tourist is normally always inside a bus, so i was deprived of that opportunity, though i see them in the distance. The herds of sheep in well manicured pastures look like some little white catterpillars because i was far.
ReplyDeleteHello, pretty captures of all the farm animals. I love the cattle, horses, alpacas and the sheep. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHorses and cows, sheep and goats - all lovely to see!
ReplyDeleteDriving by cows always makes me want to shout "moo!" :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of all the critters in the pastures.
