A Walk in the Woods

Two years ago I went for my last walk in the woods with a friend.  Today I bring you my post from that day.  It was the woods I can just see the edge of across the golf course here,  Little did I realize that this would be my last walk in the woods - ever.

  1. So good to see this again, and the wood grain, I can see a head, small antlers, and more in those wavy distorted lines, and you would have not known what was ahead, as always, I see your strength and determination, and with Mrs F.G. have achieved so much, I truly cannot imagine how you have done so much in these 2 years. Hope the machine is getting used occasionally, and on your trips out, you find a fabric shop or two among the cafes. Loved the photos yesterday, snow and frozen water, it makes me realise the immense difference in the climate from where I live and you up North. And, as always, I wish I was a lot younger and could travel to meet all my friends in the North.

  2. Beautiful photos in that post. I can but slightly imagine how your life has changed and how I'd be if excursions into the forest were no longer possible.

  10. We have so many 'lasts' in our lives and we never know when they will occur. It was good your last walk was an enjoyable one in an environment you loved and respected.
