Winter Wonderland!

Last week I went cross-country skiing up near Meaford.  To be honest, the skiing wasn't very good, 'cause it was still snowing fresh wet snow and the trails were very sticky.  But they'd had more snow than we have, and it was a winter wonderland!  I skiid by myself, got my camera out often, and really enjoyed it.  I think the pictures speak for themselves tonight.

Anyone care for a picnic by the bay?

  4. You are brave to go it alone. So much can happen that might make you wish you had someone to help you out. Photos are so lovely.

  5. Gorgeous photos! I like the blueish tint that the snow gives off in photographs. It lookes especially cold by the water--I'd wait for summer to picnic ;)

  8. It's a long while since I saw snow like that, though I think I like it in pictures rather than the real stuff. Even the picnic site looks attractive as I sit in my warm house.

  9. Very pretty snow pictures!!!! Snow is really beautiful when it's just like that, fresh snow and not too cold (at least it doesn't look too cold).
