Last week I went cross-country skiing up near Meaford. To be honest, the skiing wasn't very good, 'cause it was still snowing fresh wet snow and the trails were very sticky. But they'd had more snow than we have, and it was a winter wonderland! I skiid by myself, got my camera out often, and really enjoyed it. I think the pictures speak for themselves tonight.
Anyone care for a picnic by the bay?

ReplyDeleteSo lovely! I can sense the hush.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly are in a winter wonderland. I hear you when you're trying to ski on wet snow.
ReplyDeleteYou are brave to go it alone. So much can happen that might make you wish you had someone to help you out. Photos are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I like the blueish tint that the snow gives off in photographs. It lookes especially cold by the water--I'd wait for summer to picnic ;)
ReplyDeleteBreathtakingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJust takes my breath away.
ReplyDeleteAh, your wonderful captures has brought back wonderful memories of raising my family in Montana and I do miss the snowy winters! Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteFrom the trail to the sea, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's a long while since I saw snow like that, though I think I like it in pictures rather than the real stuff. Even the picnic site looks attractive as I sit in my warm house.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty snow pictures!!!! Snow is really beautiful when it's just like that, fresh snow and not too cold (at least it doesn't look too cold).
