It always feels like we're just passing time in January. We get one grey day after another, sometimes with tiny slightly blue patches showing through the clouds. Then every now and then a sunny day comes along and gladdens our hearts. Thank goodness I've got my mentally challenging projects to work on!
Grey or slightly sunny days. However, days are definitely getting longer, and the first plants and seeds have been ordered, so spring is on its way!
The seed catalogues and bulbs on sale are all good signs that your winter is closing down.here, we have snow in the far south, a cold wind at our place and rain.
ReplyDeleteWe have had some nice patches of sun today! I hope it lasts.
ReplyDeleteAlways Enjoy the Sun during the Winter as they are few.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe!
It's about time.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIt does help to see the pretty blue skies! I am looking forward to Spring and all the blooms.
Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy new week!
Gray, gray days -- easy to get cabin fever this time of year. But even on those gray days there's something interesting going on outdoors -- or out the window.
ReplyDeleteGrey days and muted light here. A sunny day is a gift.
ReplyDeleteGosh, not much snow your way.
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of those words, 'so Spring is on its way'.
ReplyDeleteWE have had our gray days, but not very many. It is has been like one late long fall and no real winter here. Your colored chairs are a perfect foil to the gray.
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty scene, and it's becoming a favorite one to look for on your posts. :-)
ReplyDeleteyou have a pretty view fg. it has been pretty sunny here and we have had a lot of blue skies!! i'm happy you saw my beach pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteWe've been getting snow in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon. They only thing I don't like about it is that I can't walk in town every morning.
ReplyDeleteHere today has been mostly sunny, but cold. A lot of our days feature overcast skies this time of year.
ReplyDeleteLovely set of photographs, and it's always so nice when the days start to get a little longer.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
