We headed west out of Clarksburg (we've used this route a lot since we first found it this spring, avoiding Thonrbury and its busy traffic entirely) and north on the Blue Mountain - Meaford Townline. That took us out onto Highway 26. From there into Meaford there were a great many yellow leaves on the Poplars between the road and the bay. Mostly photos today - until the end.
The darker trees in this one are White Ash.The white line peering through the trees on the left of the last photo is the Georgian Trail.
Nice colours again. It's slower coming in our area, but it's coming.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful Fall colors! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are some really beautiful colors. We are still just beginning the changeover. :-)
ReplyDeleteMostly pictures and every one beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThat apple tractors look really handy. Wonder are there any of them at the orchard we visit? We didn’t see any last week. Will have a look next week.
ReplyDeleteThe colours have not quite reached their peak here but it is getting close. It is raining right now and forecast to do so all day, so I suspect that many of the leaves will get battered from the trees. Keep you eye open for Dark-eyed Juncos returning to your bird feeders. There have been two recent sightings here in Waterloo. Winter is on its way!
ReplyDeleteLovely colours. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumnal colors.
ReplyDeleteAren't the colours wonderful?!
ReplyDeleteYour post had me going to Google Maps to have a look at your route around Thornbury. Plus, I was curious to see where Clarksburg was. Our color masses are a little behind yours but we're getting there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trees. Our apple orchards are in full gear with the picking of the apples. They have pick your own apples but they do pick some for commercial sale too.
