Reflections in the Harbour

The sailboats I shared pictures of yesterday provided some neat reflections in the water as I explored the docks.  Here's a selection.

Tonight we're having thunderous thunderstorms.  The dark skies started nearly two hours ago, with wild gusting winds, thick downpours, and lots of thunder and lightening.  It's calmed down now, but still raining. Never seen such dark skies in my life.

  1. Beautiful shots!

We got the same weather a few hours apart. There might be more coming, but this afternoon, it's been years since I've seen it that dark.

  2. Beautiful reflections of the sailboats in the water. That sounds like a severe weather system. It was 30 here yesterday, today and will be tomorrow as well then those same thunderstorms will move in here by late afternoon. It's been really great late summer weather here all week (although we just got home last night from Calgary) but will be 'normal' next week. I'm enjoying this last blast of summer.

  3. Nice selections of the reflections.
Sounds like quite a storm. Hope all is safe and no damage was done.

  5. Beautiful reflections! Some of them look like watercolor (no pun intended) paintings! :-) I love sailboats, especially the dark-hulled ones, and they're especially beautiful when they're reflected in water like they are in your photos. But I wouldn't want to be out on the water in one in weather like you described! YIKES!
