Early Fall Colour

Well, it's definitely fall here now, and we're getting a lot of leaves changing colour.  It starts down in the swamps with the soft maple, and spreads to the yellowy elms and ash and is starting to show flashes of red on the sugar maples.  In two more weeks it will be at its peak, so this is just the beginning of a big seasonal change.  I think the photos speak for themselves.

  3. You sure have lots of colour in that area already and your photos are beautiful. It's just becoming more noticeable here so I expect by next weekend we'll be seeing more colour and the trees will peak around Thanksgiving.

  5. We're not quite there yet and to tell the truth we never get such a marvellous display of autumn colour as that. The blue sky looks pretty amazing too.
