We kept on driving, up to our destination near Kemble, and along the way I got a lot more pictures of barns. Actually a lot of the landscape is rolling fields and fencerows, with no barns in sight.
As I said, a lot of rolling fields and fencerows.
And a couple of valleys.
Many views of distant barns across the fields, and one right beside the road. It looked largely unused.
I think that's enough for now! I hope you've got an idea of what our countryside looks like around here.
Plus a few willows turning yellow; early signs of spring.
spring and snow...WHAT!!! i think it is about time for your snow to melt and for you to enter mud season!!
ReplyDeletethe countryside and those barns are gorgeous!! the red one was my favorite!!
Is that a huge solar panel in #3, far away from the barn or home, and in one further along, a fence round the barn, maybe so cattle can he herded in easier, or can they be let out for a while if the weather permits? Love the road as it dips and you see all the landscape from the top.
ReplyDeleteSuch pristine venues. I would love to live there. Glad to know you're doing so well, FG. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter views, with just a touch of the coming spring.
ReplyDeleteSure is beautiful countryside.
ReplyDeleteYour barns are quite different from those around here -- except to the north where settlers came from New England and built barns in the British style. You live in pretty country.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see, thank you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Nice collection of late winter photos.
ReplyDeleteBlue skies and white snow in a rural setting with a few barns thrown in makes for great photos. You and your camera are working well together.
ReplyDeleteThe red barn sure shows up nicely against the snow and the sky...perfect shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the snow scenery, so different from where I live. Thanks for sharing your part of the world. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice pictures. Enjoyed them. Glad that you still get out and about.
