As you can see it also forces me to load the photo as a video, which is a damn nuisance! I the video works, you'll also see that the weather was as bad as ther camera! We did not need more snow!

Live View Does It Again
Unknowingly, I discover I had switched on 'Live View' on my iphone camera. Essentially 'Live View creates a quick 2 second video out of your photo - the most distracting, useless camera setting I have ever encountered! Among other things it changes the photo size to small, and prevents you from cropping it, something I do fairly often.
As you can see it also forces me to load the photo as a video, which is a damn nuisance! I the video works, you'll also see that the weather was as bad as ther camera! We did not need more snow!

oh no not snow :(
ReplyDeleteWe did not get the snow but cold winds and weather. the video worked full screen.
ReplyDeletewe got the snow too, plus freezing rain later - but did see 2 swallows Saturday and heard a sparrow singing today
ReplyDeleteThat was so fast!!! Hope it does not snow more.
ReplyDeleteI would find that 'Live View' extremely annoying and agree with what you said about it.
ReplyDeleteha ha
ReplyDeletedoncha hate technology sometimes
I have turned off live view on my camera and when it turns on by accident, I immediately turn it back off again. I agreee that it is useless. Your short video did work, however. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd that blink of snow is all Bill and I hope to see in our future. :)
ReplyDeleteWe prefer Still Pictures as well. Hope you get it figured out.
ReplyDeleteAfter all the cold weather I'm certain everyone is ready for the warmth.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
My kids use it all the time. It really is distracting!
ReplyDeleteI get that when the setting gets rubbed by me into another setting. I really don’t think I should look every single time at the settings but me the old man has to or I end up with a dozen photos that are not so forced. I appreciate your disgust in the whole situation.
ReplyDeleteMine sometimes goes into burst setting, snapping off four or five shots faster than I otherwise do.
ReplyDeleteSometimes there are just too many gadgets on our gadgets.
