Snow in the Garden

It hasn't been a very pleasant day!  Cold and windy, and leftover ice from yesterday, even if there wasn't more snow.  But I always think that a dusting of snow makes things in the garden look a lot better than the dull brown everything has been looking for most of November.  Here's a selection.

  4. Well, that's a great selection. You certainly had to plow around in the snow to find those photos.

  7. Snow is a great decorator. What's the 3rd from bottom please? I don't recognise it at all.

  8. Nice! I love the snow-covered butterfly, really interesting how the cut-outs mean the artistic decorations still remain visible in the winter. Wonder if the artist thought about that? I also am interested in the ID of the plant Georgina mentions, 3rd photo from the bottom. Do you know what it is?

  9. Pretty and Lovely photos . You got way more then us , we did get a dusting and ours has all melted now . Even though I am not a fan of the cold I do find a bit of snow on everything can be quite the interesting canvas for photos . As an amature photographer I find beauty in all our seasons . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day .
