It was a great start. Clouds tend to just move in for your sake to destroy the atmosphere. That is a nice orange color.
I was thinking like L.D. What a way to start the day!
We started out sunny, so the weather came east a few hours after yours, because we ended up with brooding clouds and snow.
HI Furry...A beautiful view well worth getting up for!Cheers!Linda :o)
The very same thing happened to us here in Bayfield and I'm sure it was about the very same time.
I love it when the light comes under the clouds to light up trees, especially in fall when the leaves glow like gold. - Margy
You got lucky. Gorgeous sunrise.
Such lovely light.
It landed in here like a bucket of misery. Freezing rain and snow mix. Made for a difficult drive home at about 25 km. hr.
Typical November, dark and damp.
So pretty out that window!
I hate it when a sunrise teases you like that.
Absolutely stunning. We call those "river trees" because when we lived in northern California there was a river across the fields from our house and in the evening, just at sunset - even it had been a cloudy day - the sun would shine just enough to light the trees up along the river. So when we see that same affect we always look at each other and say "river trees".
Even on a cold morning, that would warm your soul. Beautiful photo. Thank you.
Good to be up to capture that small bit of light!
You can't win 'em all!
Hello, lovely view and a pretty sunrise. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
The weather was just teasing you, lol.
Oh I love it when the sun shines on the trees like that. Beautiful picture.
gorgeous, those golden trees!!!
At least you saw that one beautiful moment. Some days, that's all we get!
