This was actually Monday morning, as the sun rose on one of those beautiful sunny days.
Today, after several hours outside pushing snow, suddenly the sun broke through the clouds, and shone brightly through the snow-covered Hawthorn and Wild Apple trees next door.
The Chickadees are getting used to me coming out to feed them, and being on the deck, so I'm getting some close pictures. Liked the interesting silhouette of the Chickadee on the left in this one.
Meanwhile, the snow is everywhere. We only got about 16" in 24 hours this time!

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end!
What an amazing shot of that chickadee! Only a little snow here - even with all the work of shoveling, it sure makes for a pretty landscape.

ReplyDeletePretty, pretty, pretty!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos . Yes lots of snow north of us , down here we just have a dusting but it has been windy and cold . Thanks for sharing . Have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteHere is a thought from James Kyle on Facebook, would this help??..............
ReplyDeleteLast night, BEFORE the shows came, I mixed Two Pounds of rock-salt with Two Gallons of water (H2O) and dissolved it in the water - by stirring it up in a Two Gallon Tank Sprayer. After that I pumped it up and applied it to the driveway..
In the morning he used the leaf blower to blow off the snow........
No snow here, but for summer we have had exceptionally cold mornings.
Beautiful. Carol
ReplyDeleteLovely photo's ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I gave up shoveling the patio until it warms up. The walk and in front of the garages was all I could do with the sub zero temps. Your photos are lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteNever tire of your beautiful snow.
