Sorry!

I had a long and detailed post all written and my computer took it away - nothing!

I also spent an hour on the phone trying to get a Covid vaccination appointment only to learn that all spots within an hour's drive were fully booked.

Not a good start to the week!!!

  2. Get your doctor to write you have a compromised immune system and that will move you to the front of the line. They have a habit of trying to send you to the farthest location.
Looking forward to your completed post.

    It's about time.

  3. Why do these glitches occur. I Googled a Sandhill Crane and listened to their bugle, which sounded as though they were doping a gargle, beautiful magnificent birds, and a delight to listen to.

  4. The rest of the week can only get better! :)

  5. I began my week by ruining my favourite saucepan. I put some meat on to boil ( on HI of course) and went away "just for a minute". Half an hour later the smell of cremated meat got my attention. Not a good beginning here either.

  6. Hope you get your jab soon. H and I got the Moderna vaccine; the first shot resulted in a sore arm, the second made me feel chilled and sleepy the second day, that lasted about ten hours. H basically had no reaction at all.

  7. ooooh i know how it feels to loose a post after working long and hard on it!! my doctors office helped me to get the vaccine, yours should be able to help you. you should not have to wait...and your doctors office may be able to get it for you quickly, mine did. i did not have to do anything except show up!! good luck with that!!

  8. And yet we are told that there are openings all over the place as people are not taking advantage of the clinics that have been set up. Miriam and I had our first shot nine days ago - Moderna.

  11. My aunt in Michigan was telling we how smoothly the vaccination program is running for them. They registered, got a prescription via email then walked into a CVS pharmacy (a big outfit like our Shoppers Drug Mart) and got both jabs. Ontario is not handling this well.

  12. Ah sorry for the troubles you're having. Both with the computer AND the registration for your vaccine. Hopefully things will improve for you.

    1. I'm surprised that your doctor can't arrange a mobile vaccine. A lady in the laundromat told me they are available to come to homes for those who can't get out easily or at all. Booking online is also an option?

  13. Computer issues like that can be so annoying.
