It's been just too unbelievably beautiful for early November to stay inside! I've been out riding every day over the past week, with Mrs. F.G. coming along twice herself. With the other time limitations that come from being paralyzed (early to bed and late to rise. tied to caregivers' schedules), I've skipped posting more often than ever. But rest assured, I've been having a great time. We've or I have been:
- downtown to the harbour, twice,
- along stretches of the Georgian Trail, twice, and
- around the usual streets in the neighbourhood, twice.
Here's the first of those outings, a trip down to the harbour last Thursday.
The R.A. Hoey was still sitting there as always, but two other tugs had disappeared. But as I headed on down the sidewalk I should have known what was coming. The weekend's storm had thrown lots of rocks and debris up over the sidewalk and onto the road.
Further down I could see more rocks thrown up by the waves, and the little park that is my usual destination was fenced off again.
It amazing how many rocks get thrown up by the waves.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the wave power to throw up so many large rocks!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I'm so glad you are getting out so often. Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt is great the weather continues to allow your excursions, FG. It looks like everyone is enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you could get out more, this is a very unusual November -- much too warm (hot).
ReplyDeleteThese are bonus days alright and especially at this time of year. No humidity, no bugs, no problem. Well, except for the obstacles in your way. Good to see you getting out with your camera.
ReplyDeleteNice that you've been out enjoying the pretty weather.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures!!

ReplyDeleteGlad that you are hanging in there and getting out and about. Nice pictures, and not bad weather for this time of year in Ontario.
