William

Five years ago today our lives were shattered when our oldest son William was killed while fighting a forest fire in northern Alberta.  He was a water bomber pilot, whose plane went down in a fire tornado.  He is always in our hearts.

  2. What a brave young man he must have been. I can't even begin to imagine how horrific it must be to lose your child. My thoughts are with you and Mrs. G on this day.

  20. hat is such a tough anniversary. I remember when it happened. I can't believe I have been following that long. It is good. My first wife's death remains in my mind and heart from 40 years ago but I have moved on nicely.
