William

Five years ago today our lives were shattered when our oldest son William was killed while fighting a forest fire in northern Alberta.  He was a water bomber pilot, whose plane went down in a fire tornado.  He is always in our hearts.

  2. What a brave young man he must have been. I can't even begin to imagine how horrific it must be to lose your child. My thoughts are with you and Mrs. G on this day.

  3. That part of you will never forget that William was doing what he loved to do no matter what the risks. May your hearts heal but forever hold his memory.

  19. hat is such a tough anniversary. I remember when it happened. I can't believe I have been following that long. It is good. My first wife's death remains in my mind and heart from 40 years ago but I have moved on nicely.
