As we approach the Summer Solstice (I can't believe it!), we had a beautiful sunset last night. Only 4 days to go until the longest day of the year!! That means the days start getting shorter on Saturday - though you won't notice until about August. To sooth your soul in the meantime, here are some nice pictures. Thanks to Mrs. F.G. for the photography.
Beautiful sky well photographed, my compliments to the lady.
ReplyDeleteThey are all stunning, but the second is my favorite. It just crossed my mind this weekend that the days will start getting shorter soon. I dread those days, while at the same time Autumn appeals to me as no other time of year.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so gorgeous. You can see the sun moving and changing the reflections on the clouds. Great captures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteWith all our trees here we see very few sunsets. Nice to see some fine photos of what we have been missing.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that is a beautiful sky. I love a blue and pink one, my favorites.

ReplyDeleteComing back down here to reply about your comment on round barns....about 20 years ago I ran across the first one I ever saw. I could not believe my eyes. Anyway, I have more on both my blogs...Here for those on the blog you just visited....and got to Pics & Pieces to see some more. A few of the pics are repeats but there are some more you might like. I am not expecting you to comment. Just thought you might like to see. If I can think I will try to find this site that used to have a list of all the round barns...I think it was just for Illinois. But was still interesting to look at.
ReplyDeleteI don't mean to be a pain but http://www.dalejtravis.com/rblist/rbin.htm is the list of Indiana round barns and http://www.dalejtravis.com/rblist/rbin.htm is for Illinois...and just for fun google round barns and then click images! That is if you have the time...
