No clouds in the sky, just a round ball of fire sinking toward the horizon.
We only saw it because we were getting home late from a trip further south and saw the sun setting across the fields.
The sun rose the next morning right out our kitchen window!
Another beautiful day here; summer has returned! Or maybe it has finally arrived!
The sun came up at 7:08 here this morning. Yes, days are getting shorter.
ReplyDeleteIt was an incredible day here too, FG. The colours of the sky in your photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOur sun, yes, just the same one as yours, is coming over the trees earlier, and dipping down in the far west a lot later. Warmer days, we are so looking forward to some dry weather.Your first one, red sky at night, hope it was showing a true fine day in the morning.
ReplyDeleteNice of summer to say goodbye even if it was rather reticent all the while it was here.
ReplyDeleteLove the sunsets and sunrises and this weather is amazing too.
ReplyDeleteHello, nothing better than watching the sunrise and sunsets. Lovely photos. Happy Friday, enjoy your day and weekend!
ReplyDeleteW are just a week from the autumnal equinox when the days and nights will be of equal length. To me the summer was plenty long enough. Now for a great fall season! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour skies look so much like my skies. I can't see the sun set but now that I know they almost look the same I will not miss them so much. Great captures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The same weather has settled in here.
ReplyDeletebeautiful, both, the best time of day!!
ReplyDeleteNice shots, especially your first one!
ReplyDeleteif it was rather reticent all the while it was here.
