Out the Front Window
The Side Yard
And the Meadow out Back
I liked the look of the blue Monkshood covered in snow.
A big clump of sumach we see on our morning walks.
Snow on the evergreens.
And Roxie loved it! She was delerious with excitement, romping through the yard and rolling in the snow repeatedly. She just seems to love winter!

The mixture of rollling clouds and blue skies continues here, and the sun was able to melt almost all this snow. I got out to visit a couple of Bruce Trail properties and check boundaries, while my wife made the annual batch of apple sauce today.
Ah snow! It will be cold enough to snow here tonight, but if it does I doubt it will be enough to cover the ground. Nice to see your photos of the snow.
ReplyDeleteJust popped in on your blog for the first time in over a month and imagine my surprise to see you have snow! Better you than me! Loved your pictures from Alberta and B.C.
ReplyDeleteToo early for snow. Looks pretty though!
ReplyDeleteSay it ain't so! But beautiful pix.

ReplyDeleteFun shot of Roxie! Newly fallen snow is so pretty. We've had frosty nights, but no snow yet.
ReplyDeleteThat's the most unwelcome post of the year so far! Far too early to be thinking about the white stuff.
ReplyDeleteI dread snow and would so much like to be more like Roxie.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely scenes of newly fallen snow around your place. I love the side yard shot.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous images. Newly fallen snow is wonderfully scenic. Although I'm just not ready for it yet. It's too soon!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I just love the way it all looks with snow on it. I know how Roxie feels, it's so much fun to frolic in that white stuff! :-)
ReplyDeleteyour images are so beautiful and i honestly can't wait!!! this is the best snow you can get, gorgeous for pictures and no clean up required. i often look like roxie ;)
ReplyDeleteLucky you. We haven't had weather cold enough even in the high country to get any. I sure hope we get a better snow pack this year. We even lost glaciers with this drought year. - Margy
ReplyDeleteRoxie has the proper attire for winter! This is the first week our area will generally be in the 80's for highs instead of 90's. Beautiful photos of the first snow of the season.
ReplyDeleteand so winter begins. : ) Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat pic of Roxie is just perfect! It snowed here last night- I saw it on the rooftops this morning, and it's been snowing a bit since, but it's not really staying on the ground yet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the first snow for you this season. I'm glad it was there and not here. What is it about dogs and snow?
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful but I'm glad we didn't get it! Dogs do love the snow so much!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of snow! I'm not ready for that yet. It sure is pretty though.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW ! you did get hit good with snow . Down here we just got a touch of frost and a few wet snow flakes but it is cold as are the winds they have that nip to them now ! Looks pretty there though and lovely photos ! We have had snow staying about by Halloween quite a few years ago then it would melt and we wouldn't have a true winter till January for many years . Thanks for sharing , Have a good evening !
ReplyDeleteYour Roxie looks like a snow dog! Pretty snow...and yes I think the fall is dampish and feels much colder than in the dry winter:)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Puppy looks happy. Our cats are a bit weird.
