Time in Kenora

Will started his flying career in Kenora, in northwestern Ontario, flying guests in to fly-in fishing lodges among other things.  Do you know how well they treat the pilot who brings their guests?  Really well!  Notice the canoe strapped to the pontoon of the float plane.

This was the dock where Kenora Air Services was based.  I can easily picture Will spending time here.

He must have liked these sunset pictures of planes, and I think it's a great photograph.

While there Will was sent for a summer or two up into the North-West Territories.  This is a view of the landscape up there, with smoke from distant forest fires rolling in.  Tomorrow some more pix from the NWT.

  7. Beautiful settings for the photos. My hubby has been on one of those fly-ins to places where no one goes.

  8. Will was a really great photographer! I'm enjoying seeing his perspective of the planes and the landscape he flew over and the places he visited. Thank you for sharing these with us. It must be heartbreaking, in a way, for you but also a bit therapeutic to have his photos in your collection and to share them. Blessings. Pam
