More Flowers in the Garden

Out on the patio yesterday in the warmth and sun, and got some pix of more flowers in bloom.  Enjoy.

Our tiny Magnolia, bright pink in bud, but mostly white when blooming (the part the rabbit didn't eat!).

We have one small Azalia that has survived the winter cold.  Beautiful colour.

The Leopard's Bane is now in bloom, one of our early flowers.

Mrs. F.G. bought this Pulmonaria at the Ag Society plant sale, but there was a trespassing Tulip bulb buried in the roots!

The Primrose brings the most colour to the view out my window more than any other flower in May.

The dark blue ones right in front of the window are the brightest colours.

Our daughter, her partner and our two grandchildren are arriving soon for a week-long visit.  It's been three years since we've seen them, so you can imagine how excited we are!  My blogging may be inconsistent for awhile.

  1. Family visit, that will be the highlight for a good while, enjoy every day, 3 years is a long, long time.Even with Zoom or Facetime, nothing compares with them arriving in person. Love those colours, nature gives us so much.here we have had more rain and the lawn is a squelchy mess.

  4. Nice looking flowers -- spring has sprung. We have a Primrose just like your red one with the yellow center; it blooms at the same time as the ruby-throated hummingbirds arrive and the first hummers we see are usually feeding at the flowers.

  8. After the drab colorless winter it is such a special treat each Spring to see all the colors emerging once again. The flowers, the weeds, the trees and the shrubs. And how many shades of glorious green grass are there. It is so nice to be living in a world of color.
