As long as the temperature drops below freezing at night, and the waves continue to splash, there are ice sculptures along the shoreline. The other day Mrs. F.G. offered to get out and get a few pictures; here's a selection of the results.
My Favourite
The ice really does make splendid patterns. Beautiful captures!
ReplyDeleteREally lovely. So striking. Love them.
ReplyDeleteWow, I truly have not seen anything like that in my life, only photos of similar in the far south of the South Island. If your days get a little warmer, those beautiful icicles might drop down as water.
ReplyDeleteThose are very nice -- congratulations to Mrs. F.G.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI like your favorite where the wind has curved the icicles and it reminds me of ribs.
ReplyDeleteWow! Just beautiful ice sculptures. Thank you so much for sharing them. :-)
ReplyDeleteNice compositions from Mrs FG. Mother Nature and her magical ways sure knows how to keep we human folks entertained in many pleasant ways.
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful ice formations. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend ahead.
ReplyDeleteLove those ice sculptures along the shores of Georgian Bay, brings back memories of my childhood there.
ReplyDeleteVERY cool sculptures
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, but it must be hard on the branches to hold so much weight.
ReplyDeleteWow those ice shots are amazing. I'm surprised the branches don't snap off.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful ice formations.
