That last shot is my favourite. Having that fellow in the one shot reinforces scale.
Third photo down reminds me of a tall masted sailing ship of old. Mother Nature certainly is a mighty fine sculptress.
Frozen as it was blown onto the bare branches. The one man was so muffled up, a wonder he could find the buttons or controls to use his camera. Maybe by remote!!!
There can be some very interesting ice formations. No wonder you're out there taking photos.
Thank you again for sharing more frozen in time moments.Joy
That's an amazing quantity of ice on some of those trees -- beautiful!
Wow !! Thanks for sharing the awesome ice photos!
Stunning. You are making me shiver down here in Mexico.
Pretty pictures but sure looks cold.
Is that what you call an ice storm
No, this is ice splashing up on the rocks and trees on the shoreline. The waves are regularly strong enough to hurl fist-sized rocks 30' onto the shore.
I'm so pleased you are sharing these photographs.I've never seen anything quite like it - amazing. All the best Jan
Wow, really cool!
Again, amazing! Thank you for these. :-)
That ice is amazing! I have never witnessed anything like this.
