Interesting Skies
We've had a variety of interesting skies over the past few weeks.
This is a beautiful sunny afternoon, looking over the valley toward Old Baldy.
And then there are the rare mornings I'm out of bed (briefly) at 5.30 for the sunrise.
And yes, the 'Red sky in the morning, sailor's warning' came true - it rained all afternoon.
More recently we had a sunrise like this. I think it's the smoke from Saskatchewan's forest fires.
And at times we have too many days like this.
And then one night I tried to catch the Northern Lights. We never did see them, but I caught this neat sky shot that I was quite pleased with. I think I'll be trying more of this!

Awesome sky shots. You're lucky that you have some open spots and not like in a city where you get more houses than sky.

ReplyDeleteLovely photos ! They say the suns orange glow and weird sky's has been a result of the forest fires in western Canada as the smoke has been traveling through out the atmosphere ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
