After a few warm days, spring is exploding all around us. There's colour in the garden, the grass is green and growing fast, plants are unfolding in the woods, and leaves are appearing on the smaller trees and shrubs. The world is green, except for these flowers (and one shrub), which are remarkably colourful! Enjoy them, as many other gardeners are doing at this time of year.

We've waited a long time for colour this year, very pretty spring flowers.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteThere are daffodils (at least I think they're daffodils) that grow close to the tulip beds. They're out in force now.
How lovely to see spring emerging in your area. Beautiful daffodils and hyacinths. I love all the spring flowers - they really brighten the landscape, don't they?
ReplyDeleteYou've waited a long while for such a show but it seems worth the wait. All the flowers you show are gone and forgotten here - except the primroses of course which seem to go on forever.
