We awoke to a white world today. The snow was not very deep, but it stuck to everything, creating a winter wonderland everywhere you looked. We were lucky with our wonderful late fall weather right up until Friday, so it would be poor sportsmanship to complain! And it will give me a few new pictures for the blog.
Looking out the living room window.Even after we came home from church and had lunch the line of pines retained some of the sticky snow.
What a change, the trees look so sculptured, and the chair back,,scalloped!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks cold. I like the picture of the fox "impaled" in that tree.
ReplyDeleteThe snow pictures are beautiful. It snowed last night and today by us too.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful !!
ReplyDeleteWe just had a few random flakes of snow here this morning. I am not ready for winter although I had my snow tires put on this past week. Your shots do look pretty though.
ReplyDeleteVery nice snow shots. And I love the tail on that fox! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh…We will have same this week. I hate to adjust to this weather again but there it is. Nice tail on that fox.
ReplyDeleteShy fox! I'm glad someone else is "enjoying" the snow. We had a bit more today but just a skiff on the driveway so no need to shovel. Your snow looks wet - perhaps it will melt in the next day or so.
ReplyDeleteWe must have encountered the same snow cloud down here in Bayfield. It was kinda nice to see the snow today but I'm ready for Spring now. In the first photo it looks like a Blackbird flying by.
ReplyDeleteSo the first snow is usually heavy and wet but it looks good.
ReplyDeleteSo far so good here in the capital region, it it is in the forecast. Just a little though.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou have winter too! Nice photos! I really like your red and yellow chairs!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like snow on evergreen trees. After looking at your photos, I think I’ll have a hot cup of tea!
ReplyDeleteSome photographers would work hard to take a photo of a fox like that. I like the shot. Your winter looks familiar in your back yard. I am not happy about it as much as I use to be. Your yellows sure do shine out among the white. I am going to miss the gardening side of life for now.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! We got a few flakes of snow last night, barely a dusting.
