Well, at least we did not get the dump of four feet or more that Buffalo and area got, but we did get about two feet, and it is still snowing lightly with more to come. It is early in the season for this much snow, but not all that unusual to get a big heavy snowfall at some point in November. I love storms like this though, so I put together some pairs of photos from yesterday and today, for your viewing pleasure. For your convenience I have repeated the photos from yesterday, first in each case.
The view out back - look closely!
I like how the ostrich has become a polar bear! That sure is a LOT of snow.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's more than I want to receive in one snowfall. Hope you can get out soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the ostrich. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteWhat a HUGE dump of snow! I smiled at the ostrich, which just yesterday was recognizable. I hope everyone stays safe and warm inside! :-)
ReplyDeleteHeavy snow like that is beautiful but a challenge to shovel.
ReplyDeleteThat was enough snow in your area! Poor Buffalo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The view across the golf course is really nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dumping, and slush if it all melts. The garden will get moisture under all that, and the heron need to keep his head buried, too scary if he can see what is above.
ReplyDeleteWow, quite a lot so quickly!
ReplyDeleteMy sister had already had to cancel a Christmas party because of tonight's snowfall.
That snow should begin melting this coming Wednesday and continue melting for a week or so after. You have a lot more snow than we do, and it never snowed at all here today.
ReplyDeleteYes, we have been watching your weather and feeling a little happy that it is has not reached us here yet. The older I get, the more confined I feel when bad weather comes.
ReplyDeleteThere was plowing here, even though we didn’t get a whole lot. I think, in the case of our driveway contractor, they may have wanted to practice on lesser amounts first.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of snow!
ReplyDeleteAl the best Jan
Quite a pile of it!
