I have just been out for a dose of fresh air, as I have been each day this week. It is unheard of to be so warm in November! There was actually a warm breeze today, and 21°C! The entire week has been warm. Just for comparison to show you how unusual this is, here are a few pictures from past years this week.
Yes, it has been an unusual start to November to say the least, and far too nice to spend much time at the keyboard editing pictures and writing new blog posts. Here is the weather this week for comparison.
I just came back from a glorious walk around the neighbourhood and so many people are out enjoying the weather. There are still lots of leaves to come down on the trees and there are flowers out in some gardens. Very weird.
ReplyDeleteWhat strange weather you're having. Enjoy it while you can, it can't last ( spoken like Eeyore).
ReplyDeleteI know that you are all enjoying this wonderful November weather! Never look a gift horse in the mouth! :)
ReplyDeleteI do hope it doesn't mean winter will hang around longer in March when spring is ready to arrive.
We are having a nice warm fall too.
ReplyDeleteI just chatted with Dad, he’s across the way a bit on Manitoulin Island and is reporting very similar weather but thinks it may be coming to end with rain already started. Hopefully it keeps up with the wonderful temperatures for a while longer.

Unfortunately I think we're seeing the future. Although most of us certainly enjoy the recent temperatures, that's not the way the world has been for most of our lifetimes and the consequences are dire for many people, places and species.
ReplyDeleteIt was 17 degrees here today. Scary but enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it while it lasts! We reached a high of 4C today which felt cool, but the snow isn't expected to start until Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
ReplyDeleteWe've got moderate temps (which will change starting tomorrow) and deluges of rain. Flood warnings everywhere, but next week it will get very cold and clear. I don't mind! Glad you are enjoying the warm if weird weather.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful weather you're having! And a gorgeous part of the country too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful weather indeed, all across southern Ontario, at least for the moment. A slight change over the next couple of days, and then back up above normal again. At least until next week. But it gives those of us who have put off some outdoor chores a little bit of extra time to get caught up!
ReplyDeleteYou are certainly having some great weather at the moment, take time to enjoy it :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Brr the snow and frost make you feel cold.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy these armer November days.
All the best Jan
Yes, we sure have been fortunate this November so far, I do remember a November 3 or 4 years ago that was like October and December was like November.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm, I'm not sure if my last comment went through.
