All these decisions are mentally draining, but we are making good progress. Departure date has been moved to Sept. 19th, mainly because of delayed wheelchair delivery, but we're anticipating everything will fall into place by then. With changes at home and a new (used) vehicle and more, this is getting to be an expensive business!,
I can imagine. It'll be quite an adjustment to being back home.
ReplyDeleteGetting around and being Home will be a total change from what you remember.
ReplyDeleteBreak in the new chair before heading Home just in case there's a glitch.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
I'm sure it will be good to be home, but it will also take some getting used-to. Hope you're first in line for the next new wheelchair to leave the factory.
ReplyDeleteI hope the wheelchair has a memory foam cushion, invaluable for those who sit for any length of time. Rest assured, all will be done on time. If it has to be done, it will be.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with Nancy J. Keep changing cushions until you find the perfect one for you. VERY IMPORTANT! My Dad eventually found a gel cushion to be perfect and his sore behind disappeared.
DeleteWinds of change are blowing heavy for you now. Be like the Willow and gently bend with the change.
ReplyDeleteWell, the vehicle should last a long time. Wishing you the best as you continue to recover.
ReplyDelete12 more days!! Progress is good and as they say...you cannot take money with you so you may as well spend some:)
ReplyDeleteHello, hooray for progress. I am sure you will be much happier at home. I sure the expense is well worth the outcome. Happy Friday, enjoy your day and weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour change will be a great one even though it will be a learning experience. You will have a smile on your face as you maneuver around familiar places. I'm pumped for you! :)
ReplyDelete...nothing worth while is easy...it seems :)
Oh the places you will go!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the delay.
ReplyDeleteHopefully all will go smoothy.
