We stopped in at Home Depot after physio today, to get a few things. My eye was caught by the bright colours of some of the annuals they have on sale. Here's a selection.
Seems like after the winter we are all so starved for color...these are still a feast for the eyes. Even though this far south, we have been having color for a while.
Our Canadian Tire also has a beautiful array. I have volunteer pansies and marigolds. My problem is a woodrat that visits overnight and chews them down. Such a frustrating thing. - Margy
Escorts from Mumbai? Phew!!! I love that first photo, what are they? Recognised the Day Lilies, were the little flowers Rhodohypoxis? Colour at the end of your winter must be a huge delight.
The colors of Spring are always so much looked forward to after the long blandness of Winter. Always nice this time of year to browse around all the available garden centers. It is indeed a colorful world we live in and all's we have to do is open our eyes to see it and pause long enough to appreciate it.
Tres belle!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I can smell those dianthus at the top all the way up here in the Valley.
ReplyDeleteFlowers always bring hope and life back into our lives.

ReplyDeleteWho knew you can capture so much beauty at Home Depot?? Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that Home Depot must be a little like our B&Q, but with - evidently - better flowers! Stunning shots, FG!
