Blue Skies
Still on that walk in the woods I've been describing, I looked up and realized there were some beautiful patterns of blue sky and clouds passing over behind the trees. So I grabbed a few pictures on the rest of my walk.
Been away all day today and just got home - driving the last 20 miles through a nasty blizzard with heavy northeast winds and blowing snow. This is a shrub outside the front door in the house lights - iphone camera couldn't focus very well, but I know you were all waiting to see if we actually got this snow. Well, we did; the world here is white again. We'll see how much in the morning! The forecast was right ..... but this too is April!

You fared better than Newfoundland I think. April is harsh so far this year.

ReplyDeleteYes we sure do get us some nice skies here in southern Ontario. Looks like you guys got more overnight snow than we did over here in Bayfield. When oh when oh when will we ever be under warm sunny skies again.

ReplyDeleteAhhhh ... those blue springtime skies! The clouds look like lace :) I love that second shot of the fence row. Sorry to hear you got the snow. Sadly so did we :( Still looking awfully blowy out there with that wind, and the snow looks so wet and cold .... brrrrr!

ReplyDeleteBlue skies....that's something we don't see a lot of this time of year. Sorry about the spring snowstorm. Hope it all melts quickly.

a beautiful set of images and gorgeous blue skies. i like to be home when it snows...but i don't mind being out with the hubs - in his big heavy duty work truck, while the snow is falling!! i like that last image, very pretty!!!

I was wondering if you guys up there got hit by all the snow YIKES ! we just had a dusting and was all gone by noon and has been sunny since .
