The spruce I planted 15 years ago as 8" twigs!
The north side yard.
The back yard.
The south side yard.
And a view of a swamp that attracted me as I drove by, the cedars in the background catching the snow while the hardwoods in the foreground didn't.
I guess I'm a man of few words tonight, but my first two hour-long talks on Scotland went very well today. Used up all my words doing that!

Beautiful! Those are some great photos. Wish we had some of that down here, there's only about an inch at the house.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Everything looks crisp and clean.
ReplyDeleteok, you win, but I can compete when I have more snow. Stay tuned, these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pictures, no words are necessary!
ReplyDeleteAstonishing photos - I love the blue and white of a good wintery day. The last photo of the swamp is very interesting. I like the contrasts of the sky and snow.
ReplyDeleteThese are really beautiful winter scenes!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured wintry landscapes!
ReplyDeleteLovely! There's nothing prettier than blue skies and new-fallen snow.
ReplyDeleteFew words but the pictures are worth thousands of them.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are wonderful. It's so beautiful up there, and I'm glad to hear your talks when well. You must have done quite a bit of preparation beforehand, which always makes a difference. I'm glad I get to follow you around the blogosphere. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. What a nice piece of land you live on.
ReplyDeleteAmazing those huge trees were mere twigs.
A tour around your yard was perfect! Evergreens actually allow us to see trees get big in our lifetime.
ReplyDeleteIt may be cold, but it sure makes for beautiful photos. I can almost hear the quietness, except for my feet crushing under the frosty snow.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and keep warm,
Connie :)
P.S. hop on over and join in on my three year blogging birthday Give-A-Way. It is not much, but it is handmade :)
I'm sorry for the too cold, on the other hand the photos are really wonderful, fabulous! Happy Sunday!
