Miscellaneous Macro Shots

Relaxing for the afternoon after a busy holiday weekend full of adventures, trying to see what I could capture in the close-up lens.  Turned out to be a variety of interesting things in the yard - few words needed.

A Bug - Bald-faced Hornet

A Flower - Yellow Coneflower

Leaves - Variegated Rudbeckia

Spores - Polypody Fern

Seeds - Goatsbeard

Check out other macro shots at:

  9. You are brave with the hornet shot, and it looking right at you. I would have to be 2" away to get that shot. I'm growing the variegated daisy, I hope mine blooms, the leaves are beautiful.
