There are lots of flowers in the garden that indicate the changing seasons too. In our garden, two dominant groups, the coneflowers and the brown-eyed susans paint the garden in colours of August for me - mainly purples and yellows, but a few other interesting blooms too. These are a few of the coneflower varieties we have in bloom at the moment.
I think I have all those colours except the burnt orange. Love them all.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of coneflower colours! I love them. I have the purple ones but they don't really shape into cones much.
ReplyDeleteLots of coneflowers here in my yard too.
ReplyDeleteYour yard must be beautiful with all those pretty colors and flowers.
You have a beautiful collection of coneflowers! They look so beautifully grown.

I only have the regular species Echinacea, but all your colors are inspiring, especially the ones with the pompom centers. Lovely!

Thank you all. The coneflowers certainly add a lot of colour to the garden in August here.
