The weather rollercoaster has continued through yet another snowstorm and then further melting. We're really experiencing a strange year for temperature. If this is climate change I'm worried even though it makes life easier for me personally.
First a reminder of the 'graupel' we had on Feb. 11th.
I am SO thankful that on the 17th, our wedding anniversary, the day was sunnier and fine down here, rather than that heap of snow.Your resident crane will be happy when summer is with you.Changeable weather here too, is that a sign of a total weather change world wide I wonder.
ReplyDeletewe are on a rollercoaster too. we have not had a lot of snow but the temperatures have been all over the place, we are expecting mid 60's tomorrow which is unheard of for february!! pretty, fresh white snow...it is nice to see the crane today!!
ReplyDeleteI'll take some of your melting...well, I guess it's going east rather than west. We're in the midst of snow showers today and while I'm sure the farmers are happy, I don't like it. :)
ReplyDeleteThe paths were partly clear and partly frozen snow on this fine morning. Of course, when I say partly clear, I mean of snow and not of mud. Still it was cheering to be out.
ReplyDeleteLD....It is deceiving when it warms up and then turns cold again. We are so warm today and then we will be in the negative wind chills tomorrow evening.
ReplyDeleteIt was -16 last night and going to +2 tomorrow. The wind scares me. Gusting 80-90 k is common. How much more will our homes etc be able to tolerate?
ReplyDeleteUp and down. I hope snow doesn't come back in April!
ReplyDeleteZero here this morning and cloudy but at least the wind has died down. Mixed precipitation for this afternoon.Looks like March will come in like a lion this year.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is crazy weather. We had snow too the other day and today it is in the 40's and we had a rain and thunder!!
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks lovely in picture number four.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Yes, you should be worried. Our forecast is for a high of 62 degrees (F) today -- in February! And a winter with hardly any snow, but we're having a heavy thunderstorm right now at 7:00 am.
