After a short Thanksgiving visit 'down south' yesterday, we drove home and took the opportunity to drive down one of our favourite rural roads, even though it had been spitting rain all the way home. It was like entering a golden wonderland, the overhead canopy just glowing with rich yellow colours. Take a look!
All of these pictures were taken along about a 1 km. stretch of road, where the wide road allowance hasn't been cleared of trees. This road isn't kept open in the winter, as there are no dwellings along it, but it's certainly a beautiful drive the rest of the year!
Since I like these pictures so much, I'll share them both with Our World Tuesday and Nature Notes. This is what our world is like today; nature sure provides a never-ending source of beauty!
