Computer Failure!

Woke yesterday to find my computer would not turn on! Zilch, nothing, nillo. And that's the computer with all my recent photos and my photo editing software.

As well, Blogger no longer lets me 'Compose' a post. The cursor simply does not appear; I have to do this (on an older laptop) in HTML. I am determined to resolve this properly, and get a system for my photos with proper back-up in place. And a computer that is reliable. As for Blogger....!!

So I'll be absent for awhile until I get all this resolved. Maybe I'll be able to get some older photos off this I can post in the meantime. If not, I'll be back in a few days, a week, or longer.... Cheers!

  4. So I'm not the only one with computer troubles. I'm still limping along with my smaller iMac that's gotten a little sluggish. My other iMac just sort of died on me. And I've NEVER had a problem with an iMac before ever!

  5. I just tried to put up a post in my regular fashion and had tons of error messages, nothing working like usual. I finally got around it by saving and shutting down the browser and going to another one. It seemed to help. Computer problems are awful!

  6. Blogger gets hiccups sometimes. I wouldn't worry about that. But I'm sorry to hear your computer messed up.

  8. I had the same "no cursor" thing with Blogger when I used Internet Explorer as my browser. I downloaded Google Chrome and all is well. Sorry I can't help with the 'puter not turning on.

  12. Good plan on purchasing a new computer with a reliable backup system! A computer usually crash when it has low system maintenance, and if it is overloaded with files. Your computer's memory, even the hard drive, must have had more than what it could handle. I hope you're done backing up your files so you can go back on your blogging routine!
