We weren't really expecting it. There was no big storm warning, just some gentle snowfall. But it went on for some time, and often it was snowing heavily, so we ended up with about a foot of new fallen snow. The world outside looks white again. Winter typically comes and goes like this here in Grey County, especially at this time of year.
A fresh blanket of snow over everything.#
Goodness, it may not have stormed, but you sure got the snow. I get a giggle out of the crane every time it features in the snow photos.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty in your photographs ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
How pretty. I'm wondering about the crow silhouette at the top of the first photo. It surely isn't a live bird...is it?
ReplyDeleteVery attractive. Perhaps should re-name it White County, at least for the winter :-)
ReplyDeleteThe stuff sure piles up. We are losing ours with rain between more sprinkles of snow. We haven’t seen the sun for more than a week. And winter is only starting.
ReplyDeleteWe got around thirty six hours of snow.
ReplyDeleteI would be like that crane and bury my head if that came with no warning. It does look beautiful though.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice, but then U don't have to shovel it.
ReplyDeleteYes the best way for us to see snow is in a picture. So happy we are down here in Arizona.
ReplyDeleteWinter has also come to us. It's unusually cold ( for us) and snow falling with more to come.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely and perfect for the holidays. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year...or Hapy Hannukah.
ReplyDeleteSo much snow! We have some on the ground, too, but I don't know how much, from my warm bed inside my apartment. Looks like a lot, though!
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, we still have some on the trees from last weekend. I guess the whole of southern ON may be getting more soon or over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind seeing pictures of the white stuff, but glad I'm not having to feel the cold of it all.
ReplyDeleteIt was a big, heavy dump. I'm still cleaning up.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! The only bad part is that it probably has you trapped in the house for a while.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, much more snow than we have here. We're hoping for a white Christmas, but it can warm up again after that. G.
ReplyDeleteooooh SNOW and the crane measuring tool!! it must be winter!! a very pretty snowfall!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteSnow snow go away and only come back for Christmas Day.
