Our winter weather trend took an abrupt turn today, away from the wind and storms of the past few days, bringing us bright sunshine and blue skies for a change.Off to Owen Sound (again!), so we enjoyed the drive today.
Yes it was a bright sunny day, a far cry from yesterday's blizzard!
But winter is still here - that's Georgian Bay frozen right over to the other side.
My kind of weather. Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot of the frozen bay! Wasn't the sun wonderful today!
ReplyDeleteThat is some cold to freeze a bay that size. Beautiful sky.
ReplyDeleteQuite a change from your last post. Next week winter weather is supposed to return here, you'll probably get it first.
ReplyDeleteYou assured me in a recent comment that you'll have flowers to photograph in May, though even that looks unlikely when you show us such wintry scenes.
ReplyDeleteDo you suppose if you had a long extension cord and a hair dryer you could maybe get out the back door and begin melting all that snow out there. We are hoping for a big melt sometime in the next few weeks so we can slip home and right into our driveway. Oh, and if that extension cord and hair dryer thing works out for you maybe next time your out for a scenic drive you could swing through Bayfield and give our snowy driveway a a good shot with that blower eh:))
ReplyDeleteLooks cold, but very lovely anyway. I think many of us are ready for winter to be over! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. We had three nice sunny days and now back to snow and ice. Makes like interesting! :)
ReplyDeleteYep, getting tired of winter...looking for that mercurial spring that teases and then disappoints before fulfilling its promise.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got out for a drive. We are getting snow in Colorado. It is supposed to be a big storm. I think we all are ready for spring.
