Thanks!

In the meantime it has reminded me of many happy memories of great times together, though I have many other trips to still work on.  Now that we're almost completely tied to life here in Meaford I realize how important those travels have been.

So I'll just end with one of my favourite picture of the entire two trips, and leave it that.  Now I just have to come up with some new topics to post about!

  1. Hugh often talks of our camping trips and his hunting and fishing, but at 86 knows he had the best of times back then. Your Scotland memories were so interesting for me, and I wonder if my Mum ever remembered any of her early days south of Glasgow. My Gran did, and talked a little of them.Waiting for the next episodes of some of your trips.

  2. I do so love the puffins. They seem like cartoon characters, and so cute!
Travel is a such a wonderful thing, and I do appreciate you sharing your past travels virtually with us. I've definitely got a hankering to travel to the British Isles. I had a cruise booked in 2020 that circled the Isles, but of course, that didn't happen.
    Do keep sharing.

  6. You’ll soon be bragging about your wife’s garden, but thanks for the trip until then.

  7. Thank you for the work you've put into showing us your trip. I often regret that I spend several years leading walks in the most beautiful parts of the country and never had a camera with me. It simply wasn't practical to be taking photos as well as route-finding and caring for the welfare of the group.

  9. That is a wonderful picture. Just hearing about your daily life is interesting to me, even when you're only going where your wheelchair takes you! :-)

  11. Memories are just for that. Remembering lovely parts of our life when we can't do them anymore.
