Believe it or not, a month ago today was was our anniversary. Now we never make a fuss over birthdays or anniversaries, but this was our 50th! Both of us wanted to do something special, and it started with a visit to Harrison Park in Owen Sound. I rode the One-Mile Trail and Mrs. F.G. walked the entire way with me.
She walks faster than I ride because I'm constantly stopping to take pictures. And it was certainly a beautiful day for taking pictures, sunny and blue skies, with the sun turning the green leaves almost fluorescent. There's another glimpse of Mrs. F.G.
Is that Mrs. F.G. in the distance?
This is actually a side trail of the Bruce Trail, as you can see by the blue blaze on this big tree at the end..
Happy anniversary to you and Mrs. FG!
ReplyDeleteMany Happy Anniversary wishes to you both, and n o better way that to be there with all that greenery, a trail walk together, and a photo of each of you. Sharing this day with joy.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to you and Mrs. FG.
ReplyDeleteThese were all lovely photographs you shared :)
All the best Jan
Happy Anniversary to you both. That looks like a wonderful park.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. It looks like you both had a great time. It was a wonderful place to wander. The photos that you stopped for are outstanding. Mrs. FG is a gardener so I can see how she liked to just strike out on her own and discover all that is out there.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!
Well, happy anniversary. That was a very good way to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you both.
ReplyDeleteLike you folks, we aren't big on birthdays and anniversaries either. But, I think a 50th anniversary calls for an exception and a mile long ride and walk fits the bill very well. I like the big trees. I think that yellow ball on your antennae needs a 'happy face' painted on it.
ReplyDeleteBelated anniversary wishes to you and Mrs. FG. Looks like a lovely walk that you had.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, Happy Anniversary. Back in May H and I celebrated our 58th. That sure looks like a really great place for you to ride with a lot of things to see and photograph. A number of years ago a woman in an "electric mobility device" as they're called here ran out of power in the middle of a long rail-trail here -- hope you keep your chair well charged.
ReplyDeleteThat green glow is life giving. Belated best wishes to you both! That was a great way to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lovely way to celebrate a special anniversary! Happy one to you both. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. It looks like a fine way to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary. We don't usually celebrate ours. We were happy to get to our 20th this month. Wow. 50!
ReplyDeleteYour third shot is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Nice way to spend the day!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 50 years.
