The Last of the Tulips

I do have more photos, but I think you'll have seen enough after today!  It was hard to get close-ups too, largely because I was sitting too far back in the chair.  But between us we got a few, and we certainly enjoyed it!

These white ones had shades of pink and yellow n them,].

Mrs. F.G. got the best of these.

The tractor was just a big ornament; they imported a bulb planting machine from the Netherlands.

Several people jumped up to play the piano while we were there.

And I don't think I shared this stunning deep pink colour.

You've seen this guy though!

  11. That tractor! We used to have 2 old Allis-Chalmers girls, a CA and a WD that hubby fixed up and eventually sold, but we used the WD a lot, cutting and baling hay for our cows. Hubby often says how he wished we still had it here. You just flashed up some good memories!
That last picture is not too shabby either!!

  15. Great hat!
The tractor and the piano are interesting items, the former seems fitting, the latter would be lovely to hear as one walked or road through the field.
I initially thought the first tulips were simply white, and the pink and yellow was just wonder to see. Thanks again for sharing your adventure.

  16. That looks like a fun place to visit. The piano is a wonderful thing and I have seen so many tractors like that as a kid. A tulip farm is such a wonderful idea for our side of the ocean.
