You'll be glad to know this is the last of my posts featuring our Sugar Maples and their fall colour. And I've suddenly realized that I will soon run out of pictures to share. You'll have to help me decide what comes next. But I hope you enjoy these, no need for more comments from me.

Absolutely beautiful. There's not a prettier tree than a sugar maple in fall.
ReplyDeleteDo you tap for Maple Syrup on your own trees? Or are they ornamental? Goes to show I do not know much about Maple Trees, apart from their beautiful leaves that glow in autumn.
ReplyDeleteWe don't. Our trees are only about 12" in diameter. But in earlier years when we lived in the country outside Guelph we did tap a few trees and made maple syrup. It was great fun. I'd hope for a tree 16" in diameter for tapping.
DeleteI consulted Garden Google!!! They are for sale down here, small are NZ $20, 1.5 metre ones are $60 or more,
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed your sugar maples so much. Maybe you can show us the trees when they are denuded and waiting for spring.
ReplyDeleteWe have tamaracks, if you have tamaracks, do tamaracks. 😀
ReplyDeleteThey really do have such colorful leaves on them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Great shots with the leaves against the trunk.
ReplyDeleteMy but those leaves are pretty!!

ReplyDeleteCan you give me a call? Lost your # when my phone died!
DeleteAlways love the beauty that Fall brings. Just wish it would last until Spring.
ReplyDeleteStay Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
They sure are pretty. Soon to be covered in snow. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is those large sugar maple trees that put out those big punches of or orangy red color every Autumn. They are the ones that truly set the bush lines on fire for the eye to see. A favortie color on Mother Nature's palette.
