There are still several other flowers adding lots of colour to the garden, as well as seed pods starting to form. At this point in the garden year besides harvesting veggies, Mrs. F.G. harvests seeds of particularly successful plants. Other flowers are just fading away but for others it's the leaves that provide the colour.
There are pretty Cosmos here there and everywhere.
Mrs FG is an expert gardener imo.

ReplyDeletemy gardens look about the same, with plenty of cosmos!!!
ReplyDeleteI remember now when my mom grew balsams. I never have. It is tough to start shutting down our gardens. I need to catch up reading your posts. I always enjoy the things you and your wife have in the gardens.
ReplyDeleteYou've still got a lot of color.
ReplyDeleteYour fall garden is a delight to see. :)
ReplyDeleteThe last flowers of the season seem extra precious 🌸 🌸 🌸
ReplyDeleteHardly anyone grows Balsam anymore, I used to grow it when we had the greenhouse business. Very nice Fall flowers!
