First Day in the Physio gym!

I had my first chance in thephysio gym here this morning, and it was amazing!   This is the rehab I dreamed of. Lots of equipment and a 1/1 staff/patient ratio.  In one case it was 4/1 as a patient tried to learn to walk again.  I have a long way to go to get my fitness back after nearly 6 months lying flat!  But I think I'm really going to enjoy a carefully supervised hour inthe gym every morning.

Then I was hit with another hour of exercises this afternoon.  Had to have m a little nap after that!

Last nightI I woke at midnight to the brightest, longest brilliant lightning show that I can remember!  My window gives a great view, and the lightning lasted nearly 45 minutes, with heavy rain.  I loved it!  Too bad I couldn't get my paralized legs out of bed to take some pictures!

  5. Well that was really neat getting to see that free light show put on by none other than Mother Nature her very self. You are facing your challenges with Gusto. And Gusto is good.

  11. Glad you've got a good gym and good physios to help you regain some fitness. We could do with some of that rain here to break this long spell of hot weather we're having; if it comes with a free light-show then so much the better.

  17. Good to hear that you liked therapy, it's so important for maximum recovery; hard work but well worth the effort. So, keep working at it and no slacking-off.

You're probably getting the same weather system we've had here for the last five days. Our rain gauge has had almost ten inches of rain since Saturday, some in the form of impressive thunderstorms. Enjoy the sky show.

  24. Aren't therapists absolutely wonderful? They sure were wonderful with Roger...the girl that got him walking again was about 4'10', but she had him up and walking before the 3 weeks of therapy was done!
