FURRY GNOME UPDATE

Dear blogging friends,  the Furry Gnome had surgery 18 days ago and was hoping to be back home by now.  Unfortunately he has experienced some setbacks and is still in the Hospital ICU.  The last few days has seen some improvement in his condition and we are hopeful that the worst is over.  He is receiving the best care imaginable and we are grateful for the brilliant expertise of all the dedicated professionals treating him.  I have been keeping him up to date on some of his favourite blogs and have come to appreciate the wonderful adventures you take us on and the stories that you tell.  Your encouraging messages, and prayers will be uplifting and motivating as Stew enters the rehabilitation stage of his recovery.  Hugs.     Thanks so much Mrs F.G. A worrying time for you and him, and I do hope he will be on the up and up from now on. You just hang in there, our thoughts are so with you as well. Are you staying close by for now? Please tell Stew, our daughter's wedding went so well, typical southern country New Zealand style, hospitality and generosity on overload.     Say, do you suppose if you slipped his camera into him it would speed up his recovery if he could make it over to his window for a few outside shots:))
