More Flowers Left in Our Garden

Here are a few more of our remaining flowers, including the Echinaceas or Coneflowers.

The pink Echiacea are the native ones, and they self seed easily, spreading widely through the garden.  At this time of year they seem to be everywhere!

But we also have a struggling small patch of red ones, here hidden behind more of the pink ones.

Out small patch of white is quite healthy, but neither of these different varieties spreads in our garden at all.

Cosmos is not only a pretty flower, but a great source of colour at this time of year.

Another great source of fall colour is Helenium, a bright orange flower.

Fall Anemones add a beautiful pink colour.

And our two roses are still doing fine.  Meanwhile we're enjoying what feels like November weather here!  Where did the warm summer weather go to so fast?~!

  1. I have tried both red and white echinaceas but the pink are all that remain. The other didn’t last long at all.

  3. Still looking good. Our blooms are full of butterflies and bees. Those cosmos are very pretty. May have to add them to my seed list for next summer.

  5. The heat is here for a few days; I'm certain it will be heading your direction soon.
The late summer flowers are looking lovely! I'm noticing things are beginning to die back here. Fall is definitely around the corner.

  6. I've always liked cone flowers and I do have a few. I'll have to try and remember to try those Cosmo flowers. Anything with color works for me. And, especially with so much shade here.
