Here in the Pacific Northwest many boats are brought out of the water in the winter - not because of the chance of freezing, but I think because it is cheaper to store them on land than to pay the berthing fees at the local docks. I've seen some boats that have been in storage for several years, makes you wonder why they even keep the boats if they don't use them.JoAnn ( Scene Through My Eyes)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12621061028973446378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1315509519261683441.post-40857450217188491522015-01-27T21:53:49.944-05:002015-01-27T21:53:49.944-05:00Interesting! We rarely have freezing temps here, and our rivers never freeze, so it's something I've never considered.Linda W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00805197763483105000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1315509519261683441.post-88262117400790800412015-01-27T21:12:38.407-05:002015-01-27T21:12:38.407-05:00The same is done here on the Canal; boats are remo...The same is done here on the Canal; boats are removed.
