Our terrain was so different than this with black soil and great green ferns and small rock from glaciers of the past. L. I recently subscribed to our Ordnance Survey's online map service which gives me maps for the whole of the UK at 1:25,00, 1:50,000 as well as road maps, aerial views etc on the computer screen. Better still it has a gadget that allows me to measure the length of any walk and the amount of ascent on the route. And all for £20 a year - very handy for planning walks.John "By Stargoose And Hanglands"https://www.blogger.com/profile/00832873074550725579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1315509519261683441.post-75310557790393910632017-12-08T20:52:10.994-05:002017-12-08T20:52:10.994-05:00It is a curious wall of rock alright! It is a curious wall of rock alright!Marie Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03882722634065183364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1315509519261683441.post-59618734627653829812017-12-08T20:39:51.666-05:002017-12-08T20:39:51.666-05:00I would still have enjoyed the walk....but makes y...I would still have enjoyed the walk....but makes you wonder who wrote about the trail.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08015780995837712115noreply@blogger.com
