I have never seen Mute Swans but we do get the Trumpeter and Tundra Swans in the area and flying over head as they fly to and from Long Point Provincial park and the Aylmer feeding station at the Aylmer Wildlife Management, we are located in between the two places along lake Erie and we are blessed to be on the migration path . Thanks for sharing , stay cozy on these very cold winter days and have a good weekend !Country Gal https://www.blogger.com/profile/08693944554850315123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1315509519261683441.post-88080167866778990942019-01-30T07:48:58.797-05:002019-01-30T07:48:58.797-05:00Mute swans are beautiful birds, but like so many b...Mute swans are beautiful birds, but like so many beauties there's an ugly side to them. Mute swans are native to Europe and were introduced to North America because of their beauty. In some areas there have been efforts to control their numbers or eliminate the local populations -- usually to no avail.Woody Meristemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17042498252608254901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1315509519261683441.post-12060657475288149802019-01-30T06:46:41.370-05:002019-01-30T06:46:41.370-05:00Hello, nice sighting of the mute swans.
